When do I receive my study pack?
Once you have registered as a student and paid your fees you should receive your study material in a large box, either:
- approximately two weeks before the course starts
- or up to nine days after you have paid if this was after the course start date.
When do I get access to the virtual learning environment?
Once you have registered as a student and paid your fees you should receive an email giving you a username and password to the virtual learning environment either:
- approximately two weeks before the course starts, or
- up to two working days after you have paid if this was after the course start date.
What do I receive in my study pack?
Your box will contain the material for the current year or semester.

Am I eligible for any exemptions?
If you have studied a subject to a similar or higher academic level you may be exempt from one or more modules of your chosen course. You can apply for these exemptions when you apply for the course.
What support will I get?
With CEM you are supported every step of the way. Your course administrator will act as your main point of contact throughout your course. The academic team will guide and support your learning. We have dedicated teams to provide support for assignments, exams and technical issues. You'll have access to a wealth of library and online materials to support your studies. How much time will it take each week?
The amount of study required varies by course, so please check individual course details to find out how much time you will need to commit.
Are there compulsory assignments or exams?
All courses are assessed using assignments and exams. These are compulsory and you will need to adhere to certain dates to pass your course. Once you are registered for a course you will receive detailed information on submitting assignments and when and where you can sit your exam.
Where can I sit my exam?
We have over 100 exam venues around the world and will help you find the most convenient location.
What happens if my circumstances change?
If your personal circumstances change for any reason, either at home or work, in a way that might affect your studies, assignment or exam performance, you should notify us immediately.
